1994
Arturo Poli, an expert in industrial security, founds Sirio, which offers surveillance services.
1998
Together with a partner, Sirio creates Defender: a company for the design and installation of alarm, video surveillance and fire prevention systems.
2005
Sirio acquires 100% of Defender and Sera Sistemi.
2009
From the merger by incorporation of Defender and Sera Sistemi into Sirio, Gruppo Sirio was born.
2012
Together with some fire safety experts, Sirio creates his own fire safety division.
2019
The local unit in Rome is opened and the new Operations Center certified according to the European standard UNI EN 50518:2020 is built.
2020
Sirio becomes regional business partner of the world’s leading manufacturers of security software and devices.
